Dr. Franz Weidenreich, Director of the Cenozoic Research Laboratory in Peking is seen comparing skulls of Peking man and modern man. Reconstruction of skull is also portrayed.

Franz Weidenreich was a German-born anthropologist who became a research associate in the Dept. of Anthropology at the American Museum of Natural History.
